In a effort to show how my work translates into toys I’ve posted some process shots of another figure in my 13 friends toy line.  They are work in progress shots which is why they look unfinished. His name is Rooofus.

Edgar Sculpt

January 25, 2007

As some of you may know, the first figures of my “13 friends” toy line will start to be released in a couple months time.

I often get questions about how to produce designer toys. I’m not really sure there is one way of doing it, however I thought I’d show a couple pics of the process. After I’ve completed the initial turn-around drawings, a scuplt of the figure is produced.

Edgar is the first of 4 figures, I’ll be sure to post production pics of the other characters in the coming days…

Well this is my first time blogging, I’ve been at it for about 15 minutes and already I feel its time to go pick up up a book to learn more! Most of the stuff in here will be pictures of my work ’cause I dont like typing, which works out rather well since I dont often have anything to say. I’m shooting to post stuff a few times a week, hopefully its easier to update than my website…
